Overview

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare is forecasted to have a transformative impact on the delivery of patient care and the business of providing quality healthcare. This program aims to prepare healthcare professionals with deep knowledge of how AI applications and strategies are being deployed across the core functions of healthcare. The 12-week professional certificate program launches on January 10, 2022 and ends on April 3, 2022. Four distinct modules of three weeks in duration are seamlessly woven together with weekly live sessions to further integrate and synthesize the learnings. The program is online with one live session weekly for the program duration.

 

Course Notice: Non-credit courses and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) do not post to the University of Maryland transcript and do not count towards a student's academic record. Neither grade nor credit is earned. Non-credit students do not receive a University ID card nor access to University facilities such as recreation, transportation, and campus events.
